Clinical Speech & Language Studies
About the Course
The
degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies (Undergraduate Course, Code - TR007) is of 4 years duration and leads to a qualification in speech and language therapy. The course is delivered within the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences at the university and students participate in a range of courses offered to members of other disciplines. Graduates of the course are professionally recognised by the professional organisations in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Graduates are eligible to register with CORU, theThere is no Graduate Entry or Advanced Entry Route to Clinical Speech & Language Studies. Within the HEAR or DARE scheme students may enter with reduced points. Course specific requirements include IELTS (Academic Version) 7 (no individual band below 7, Duolingo English Test minimum overall score 130 with no individual sub score under 130). Minimum Entry Requirements 2023 = 544 Points. There are 34 places available annually. Applications for admission from EU applicants are made to the Central Applications Office (CAO). Non-EU applicants apply online direct to TCD by 1 February of the proposed year of entry. Entry is possible only at the beginning of the academic year, in September.
